Lowering the Friction.

We connect business owners, operators, investors, and service providers. We invest time in relationships before opportunities arise, so an owner can start with a candid conversation rather than an early document request.

    Patient Capital, Healthy Growth.

We operate differently from traditional private equity. We prioritize the long-term health of the business over short-term financial engineering.

    Patient Hold Periods

We invest with a long-term hold mindset rather than a fixed fund life, which reduces pressure to pursue growth at the expense of stability.

    Low Leverage

We use low leverage tactics to maintain business health, avoiding the stress of significant debt loads. We do not use SBA loans.

    Cash Flow Focused

We favor businesses that generate steady cash flow, which gives owners of the business the option of regular distributions rather than relying only on a future sale. Actual results vary and are not guaranteed.

    Flexible Structure

We invest local capital in established businesses, in majority and minority positions.

    Operator Centric

We back an operator to lead the business day to day, supported by TTUN and the team in place. We build relationships with capable operators across our focus industries.

    Thoughtful Operations

We deploy technology where helpful but don't turn companies upside down. Improvements are made with employee partners.

    Connecting the Dots.

Success in the lower middle market isn't just about money; it's about the right people in the right seats.

Every introduction starts with a conversation, not a transaction.

We invest our time in creating deep connections. When opportunities arise, we look for the right operator to lead the business and service providers who can contribute relevant expertise.

The network helps TTUN make relevant introductions among owners, operators, investors, and advisors. An introduction is a starting point, not a promise of a transaction.

    Readiness Guidance

We help owners prepare their business for a future transition, with practical guidance and introductions to trusted professionals.

The Seller Readiness Scorecard is a useful starting point.

    A connected bench

Introductions to investment bankers, business brokers, CPAs, attorneys, and lending partners, alongside our growing network of investors and operators.

    Learn about Service Providers

TTUN Ventures does not charge or accept referral fees, finder's fees or other compensation for introductions, and introductions are not endorsements. TTUN is not a broker-dealer, business broker or real estate broker.

    Our acquisition timeline

These are indicative steps, not fixed deadlines. When a business and the right terms align, we work with purpose while giving diligence and financing the attention they require.

    Day 1

    Introduction

We start with a phone call or face-to-face meeting to understand your priorities. No documents are needed for this first conversation.

    First 10 days

    Information gathering

If there is mutual interest in exploring further, we discuss what information would be useful and why. Early requests should be focused and proportionate.

    Day 10 to 14

    Indication of interest (IOI)

We share our interest, a potential value range and our post-close plan. Together, we work through a focused pre-LOI diligence list over 10 days toward an LOI with a clear path to closing.

    Day 15 to 25

    Letter of intent (LOI)

If both sides want to proceed, the terms and transition framework are discussed collaboratively, with the right professional advice for the situation.

    Day 60 to 90

    Closing

A closing depends on diligence, mutually agreed terms, financing, and other details. No outcome or timeline is guaranteed.
